Job Description: Actively seeking for institutional funding partners for channeling or JFS, and match the funding need with business volume expectations Negotiate with funding partners on the pricing schemes that will meet sustainability of platform, yet acceptable by the lenders Ensure operational excellence the end to end operational flow starting from selection of lenders-borrowers based on the agreed criteria and pricings, lender registration, loan matching process, digital signature requirements from lender-borrowers, and money flow from lenders to platform and to finally borrowers. Ensure the end to end flow from lender to borrowers meet regulatory requirements Regularly monitor the lender portfolio performance against the pricing schemes agreed Proactively seek for workaround solutions whenever necessary when there’s unforeseeable issues arised at operational level or high level agreement with lenders Collaborate with Legal team for reviewing the contract agreement for each lender Work closely with cross functional team within platform to achieve business objectives from funding and overall organization goals Organize and coordinate with legal to ensure all the documentation from each lender is neat and comply. Support the internal and external audit requirements from preparation as well as actions needed based on the auditors inputs. Direct Client Investment Activities Monitor shorts and long terms fundings needs and performance Ensure all projects in relation to funding department goals & milestones are met Ensures and maintain the quality of the funding portfolio and records Ensure Adherence to Financial Regulations
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics. Min of 5 years experience in as funding manager
Client service – this role requires strong client service skills, since fund managers work closely with clients to understand their goals and make financial decisions that support both long- and short-term investment objectives Familiarity with financial regulations – fund managers should also thoroughly understand financial laws and procedures Networking skills – in this role, fund managers need to build their professional network and client base, so they should be excellent relationship-builders and feel comfortable with networking to stay informed about industry trends Documentation skills – fund managers prepare financial documents such as disclosures and reports, so they must be able to craft and edit these documents while ensuring accuracy Communication skills – written and verbal communication are both essential in this position, since fund managers communicate directly with clients and other financial services professionals
