JOB DESCRIPTION STRATEGY Develop and Lead vision and roadmap for Quality Assurance program. Develop and implement quality metrics to measure performance of quality assurance program. Develop Quality Assurance Plans for all new programs. Revise existing control plans for existing product lines as needed. Work closely with the senior management team to ensure idea sharing and standardization. OPERATIONAL Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other related regulations Responsible for customer complaint resolution. Leads cross-functional team to countermeasure and resolve chronic non-conformities and customer complaints. Act as a liaison with customers' auditors and ensure completion and execution of corrective action and compliance with customer specification Set Quality Assurance compliance objectives and ensure KPI targets are achieved Manage and maintain the company's quality inspection and product release programs Delivery of department business plan, budget and team capacity management Develop and maintain an appropriate QA organizational structure that supports the needs of the business Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all QA staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies Motivate and develop team members, through range of performance management techniques Evaluate data to improve product and/or processes ensuring the highest quality products and services. Set up and maintain quality process controls and documentation Establish QA departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures

THE SUCCESSFULL APPLICANT Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance (master's degree will be an advantage) 10 years or more experience in leading quality management field at furniture/woodworking industry Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Demonstrated success in a leadership and team building role, with ability to coach Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other related Quality Management System Lean or Six Sigma GB or BB certification preferred Previous experience as surveillance consultant is an advantage Understanding of production and manufacturing processes
