Tax Accountant

Technical skills o Proven experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or similar role o Previous experience with Xero accounting software is favourable o Analytical with an eye for details and good MS Office skills, particularly with Excel o Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy ,finance, or similar o Well knowledge of Finance, Accounting & Tax. • Management skills o Ability to work under pressure o Solutions-driven attitude with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility • Communication o English skills at high level of proficiency (written and spoken) • Prior experience with a natural resources or international company (preferable) • Minimum 5-years working experience

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) • Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through the informed application of tax laws and regulations. • Prepare tax calculations, estimates, reports, submissions/filing • Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax (including Company Income Tax, Value added Tax, Withholding tax, Import tax etc) and Personal Income Tax • Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management • Act as the key point of contact and support for taxation matters • Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support • Manage external tax authorities and consultants • Review current and deferred tax provision • Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters • Lead and coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives • Check, advice and help to overcome challenges on implementing a better structure & process for more efficient/compliant submission
