We currently have a vacancy for an Account Executive (Group Tour) to develop sales and to source and create tailor made group tour packages.
Reporting to our Manager, the ideal candidate would have experience in the tour operator or travel agency market putting together tailor made tour packages, and who also has some experience in sales.

Duties will include:
* Identifying target customers for sales development
* Quantifying client sales potential and profiling each client
* Prioritising clients for scheduled sales calls and making these calls to develop new business
* Taking client sales enquiries
* Creating a tour costing
* Quoting customers on tour packages
* Chasing outstanding quotations and finalising booking confirmations
* Issuing brochures and or requested tour information to clients
* Day to day liaison with group organisers regarding existing tour bookings
* Processing of reservations for individuals and administration of these bookings up to the time of travel
Diploma in Tourism or Graduate with min 1 year of sales experience in Travel Industry

The person must have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to talk and liaise with customers. Airline booking experience would also be an advantage. Candidates will also need to have strong office administration and IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as utilising an internet.
