Application Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
* Promote value added services through productivity/ process optimization offerings and application engineering support
* Conduct tests of new products to demonstrate cost reductions or productivity improvements
* Study the machining processes and suggest tooling centric, machine centric and cell wise productivity improvements using company products for cost reductions to customers on turnkey basis
* Coordinate with global product marketing team for new product developments
* Support new product launches
* Help in preparation of engineering proposals for new parts machining
* Conduct technical seminars at customers’ premises
* Conduct training for field sales staff
* Plan strategies for product sales growth (Milling,Turning, Drilling & Systems)
* Identify new business opportunities in targeted accounts for identified products to grow sales
* Any other duties as assigned by the management
Job Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering
* Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in process/ application engineering/ production engineering/ technical support/ cutting tool/ manufacturing or machine tool industry
* Competent in determining process sequencing, selection of cutting tools, run offs, trouble shooting, part programming, trainings etc.
* Able to understand and communicate all product and technical information
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment
* Able to speak basic English
* Possess own transport
